On 15th July 2025, Inner Wheel Club of Bombay Bayview organized a Cervical Cancer Awareness seminar for parents and teachers. The session aimed to spread awareness about cervical cancer, its prevention, and the importance of early intervention.

Dr. Noopur Khare, Director of the Cancer Patients Aid Association, delivered an informative and engaging talk on the elimination of cervical cancer. She highlighted the critical role of HPV vaccination, especially for young girls in the age group of 9 to 14 years.

The session was interactive and focused on key aspects such as vaccination, prevention, and timely screening. Dr. Khare encouraged parents and teachers to actively support HPV vaccination and informed attendees about the availability of free vaccination for young girls. The workshop concluded as a highly informative and impactful awareness session.
