Primary Excursion
On 30th September the students of the primary section went for a field trip. They visited the Fire Station at Byculla and Veermata Jijabai Bhonsale Udyan or Rani Baug Zoo, Byculla.
The children were amazed to view so many different types of fire trucks, ambulances, fire bikes, etc. used by firefighters. They were happy to learn how to extinguish fire with a fire extinguisher and received numerous tips and tricks from the firemen on protecting and safeguarding themselves from fire.
Later, they visited the zoo… here the students were thrilled to watch a humongous elephant followed by a terrifying tiger. They were happy to see the penguins, monkeys, and the bird’s aviary.
The children returned home with happy memories and the extensive knowledge they received on this educational excursion.
